By submitting information into our site, you are consenting for your data to be used by us and our panel of service providers, and by their appointed representatives and to intermediaries referred to in the Privacy Statement. This consent applies to both ordinary personal data and to sensitive personal data such as health information and criminal proceedings or convictions.

Our agreement with you

Our website and CV distribution technology has been designed to allow private individuals to circulate their CV to our Service Partners such as Job Board Websites. Furthermore, to automate a Registration Profile with this CV and enable opt-in marketing of services. Therefore, if you are:

  • a private individual wanting to use our website to distribute your CV and have your CV viewed directly by Recruiters
  • in agreement to the terms of our Privacy Statement.
On this basis, you are permitted to use our website.

Our services

Joboso.com is not a Job Board - we are a distribution service that electronically circulates the Job Registration Profile and CV, you submit to our website. We aim to circulate your CV to relevant Job board Service Partners, Direct Recruitment, Training Providers and other selected third parties may also be entitled to view the details you supply and hopefully engage you in interviews and get job offers more quickly.

Joboso.com is a trading name of Shine the Light Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Reg No. 6590787), with the registered address at: Park House, 25-27 Monument Hill, Surrey KT13 8RT

Your responsibilities

Only upload personal information in support of a new job, namely CV and details of job sought. Not to upload information not belonging to you. Not to upload any files containing viruses or inappropriate material.

If a particular Service requires you to open an account you will be required to complete the registration process by providing certain information and registering a username and password for use with that Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the username and password and also for all activities which take place under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use of your password or account or any other breach of security. In no event will Joboso Ltd be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoeve resulting from the disclosure of your username and/or password. You may not use another person's account at any time, without the express permission of the account holder.

Acceptable Use

You acknowledge that all information, text, graphics, logos, photographs, images, moving images, sound, illustrations and other materials ("the Content"), whether posted publicly or transmitted privately, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. We do not control or endorse the Content and cannot guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content and you acknowledge that by using the Services you may be exposed to Content that is offensive and/or indecent. Joboso.com will not be liable in any way for any Content or for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from the use of any Content transmitted via the Services and you agree to bear all risks associated with the use of any Content, including any reliance on the accuracy or completeness of such Content.

In using the Website/Services you agree not to:

What if our technology has made a mistake?

Our technology is very sophisticated and we hope that mistakes are never made! However, we stress that it is your sole responsibility to check that your details are correct on the underlying Service Partners website.

Our liability to you

If the information has been incorrectly entered by our technology it is your responsibility to identify the mistake and, as such, we exclude all our liability which by law we can exclude, in respect of all losses you may incur. We accept no responsibility, or any liability whatsoever. We accept no responsibility, or any liability whatsoever, for the terms applying, to a contract entered into with any Service Partner or for any problems or complaints that may arise from your dealings with the selected Partner.

Our aim is at all times to provide a first class standard of service. However, there may be occasions when you feel we may have not achieved this.
